IDL on WWW

A couple of more things about IDL. There is a Usenet newsgroup 

comp.lang.idl-pvwave

which has about 5-10 messages per day and a very high signal/noise.

The following message was posted there today, and gives a pointer to IDL stuff
on WWW.

In case you haven't noticed it, IDL now has a nice World Wide Web home page at
URL:

	http://sslab.colorado.edu:2222/projects/IDL/idl_ssl_home.html

It basically explains what IDL is, gives pricing information, supported
platforms, things like that.  It also gives one a connection into the ftp site
for downloading the current version of IDL.  In addition, there's a gallery
with a bunch of pretty pictures showing what IDL can do--maybe they could also
add some MPEG animations in the future?
