Well, this isn't really a beamline controls issue, but I thought
I would throw it out anyway since there may be people lurking on
the list that would find this interesting:

Staff Position
DND-CAT Synchroton Research Center
A scientific staff position is currently available on the
DuPont-Northwestern-Dow Collaborative Access Team (DND-CAT) at the
Advanced Photon Source. DND-CAT has formulated a broad interdisciplinary
research program which takes advantage of the Advanced Photon Source. The
three main research areas within DND are Surface and Interface Science,
Polymer Science and the Atomic Structure of Bulk Materials. More
information about DND-CAT can be found on the web-page at
http://tomato.dnd.aps.anl.gov/. The successful candidate will be
responsible for assisting users of the facility with experiments,
developing new experimental techniques, and developing his/her own
research program. Candidates should have a Ph.D. in Chemistry, Biology or
Materials Science with experience in crystallography and x-ray scattering
at a synchrotron. Some experience in synchrotron-based polymer scattering
and macromolecular science is also desired.
