We use left to right for graphical displays. Right to left is how you
view the beamline when you first walk in, however, three of our
end-stations have the user sit perpendicular to beam direction, and our
newest station will have the user sit on the ring side of the beamline
facing out. Left-to-right is how most people are user to reading so
seems more logical...
