No.  The 162-042 is a better choice, but you might also look at the
162-532.  It has 16 MB, is a little faster (32 MHz), and a little more
expensive.  I've run EPICS and hideos together on this board with no
problems.  (I haven't pushed it hard yet, though.)  We're finding that
we need 16 MB in many of the beamline VME crates.
