Allen-Bradley SLC-500 and EPICS

    Folks,

Claude Pradervand here at CARS has now hooked up the Allen-Bradley 6008 VME
scanner to the SLC-500 DCM module.  The standard EPICS software (Binary input
record) works just fine to read status bits out of the DCM.

Claude now has the SLC-500 running a PLC program, reading both local and
remote I/O, and passing the relevant status bits on to EPICS via the DCM.
