On the general issues of compatibility of PLC development environments -
I've recently encountered documents about PLCopen and the IEC 1131-3 'standard'.
Is this something which is being taken at all seriously by the PLC vendors? They
claim to have a lenghty list of vendors as members but I wonder if someone
with more experience in the PLC world can say if this is being taken
seriously at all?
