Highland V720 microstepping driver

BCDA is considering creating a stock of a new model of microstepper
from Highland Technology. The V720 is a 48volt, 3amp, 2 channel microstepper
with the same low radiated EMI characteristics as the V740. 

The BCDA stock would include the V544, a VME based controller card (now
available with encoder support), and the V744-10 rack mounted chassis
and power supply for Highland drivers. 

Anyone who sees their beamline or lab having a short or long term need
for this driver please let me know. 

The pricing and manufacturer's specifications for the V720 and V740
are available under the 'Motor drivers' section of the APS Beamline
Controls Hardware web page. The V544 listed in the 'VME Steppermotor
controllers' section.
