IDL file browser for proposed APS HDF format files

    Folks,

I have written a prototype IDL browser for the proposed APS HDF file format.
The current version lets one view the structure of the file, but not the
actual data in each SDS.  That will be added in the next version.

You can download it via anonymous ftp from cars.uchicago.edu,
pub/idl/aps_hdf_browser.tar.  Put the files into a directory and make that
your default directory.  Start IDL and type

IDL> aps_hdf_browser, 'examples.hdf'

or select another HDF file from the File Open menu.
