Tim,

This seems like a good idea. I am not crazy about D connectors because they
are not easily secured (tiny little screws which always get lost).

Are there other signals we need. +5V is needed by the optical encoders on many
motors, but I guess that comes from the new Step Pak to the motors, not in
this interface.
